We are Lucas, Jazmín, and Camila — a wedding photography and filmmaking team based in the Riviera Maya. We photograph weddings with clear direction when it helps, restraint when the moment needs space, and one consistent visual standard from the first frame to the final gallery.

You do not need to know how to pose or perform for the camera. During portraits, we give simple direction, pay attention to light and movement, and change anything that feels uncomfortable or unnatural.
During the ceremony, speeches, embraces, and the moments that cannot be repeated, our job changes: we anticipate, observe, and avoid turning the wedding into a photo shoot. The goal is not to control the day. It is to photograph it well while you are actually living it.
Lucas is our lead filmmaker whenever cinema is included. All three of us also photograph weddings, with the final photographers and any qualified additional operators confirmed before booking. We coordinate photo and film as one production.
Three Paths. One Project.
We are three Argentinians from Buenos Aires, Tucumán, and Catamarca who met while working in photography in the Riviera Maya. Photography connected us before Roots existed: Camila was one of Lucas's early mentors in photography, and Jazmín and Camila were already friends.
Each of us came to Mexico looking for opportunity and growth. Family and couple photo sessions were not something our own families commonly did, and discovering them here changed how we understood the value of photographing the people we love.
That shared experience — together with years of learning, working, and supporting one another — is part of what we now bring to Roots Weddings.

Lucas leads our films. Jazmín and Camila bring photographic depth and direction, and each of us can photograph weddings as lead when assigned. The team is confirmed in your proposal.
No Anonymous Rotation. Your Team Is Confirmed Before You Book.
Roots Weddings is not presented as a marketplace of interchangeable photographers. Depending on the coverage, your wedding may be photographed by one or two members of the core team, and the expected photographer or photographers are named in the proposal before the date is reserved.
If your coverage includes cinema, the lead filmmaker is also confirmed for that production. This keeps the people, responsibilities, and expectations clear before you sign anything.

Some complete weddings in our archive were produced through other companies and cannot be published publicly by Roots. When usage rights allow, we share complete galleries privately during qualified consultations so you can evaluate how an entire wedding is photographed — not only a selection of favorite images.
