Question 1

Do you photograph weddings outside the Riviera Maya?

Accepted Answer

Yes, depending on the date and production. Send us the destination and we will confirm availability and any travel requirements in your proposal.

Question 2

Who will photograph our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Roots Weddings is photographed by our core photography team: Lucas, Jazmín, and Camila. The exact photographer or photographers assigned to your wedding are confirmed in your proposal based on the coverage you choose.

Question 3

How does wedding film work?

Accepted Answer

Lucas is our lead filmmaker when cinema is included, and the Roots photography team covers the stills. Your proposal names everyone assigned to your wedding and lists the exact film deliverables before you book.

Question 4

Can we see a complete wedding gallery before booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Because some of our previous wedding work was produced through other companies and cannot be published publicly, we share complete wedding galleries privately during qualified consultations when usage rights allow.

Question 5

We are planning from abroad. Can the process happen remotely?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Consultation, proposal, agreement, and planning can all be handled remotely. We coordinate the photography timeline with you and, when relevant, with your planner or venue contact.

Question 6

How quickly will we receive our photographs?

Accepted Answer

Our current target is to send photography sneak peeks within 48 hours and the complete edited photography gallery in approximately 2–3 weeks. The exact delivery window is confirmed in your proposal and agreement.

Question 7

How quickly will we receive our wedding film?

Accepted Answer

Our target for film delivery is 4–6 weeks. The exact deliverables and turnaround are confirmed in your proposal before you book.

Question 8

Is a retainer required to reserve the date?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your date is reserved once the agreement is signed and the 30% retainer is received. Your payment schedule is in your agreement.

Question 9

What affects the final investment?

Accepted Answer

Coverage hours, the number of photographers, film production, travel, venue requirements, and the complexity of the timeline can all affect the final proposal. The starting points on our Coverage page are designed to make the expected investment clear before you inquire.
