Lucas specializes in the in-between: the breath before the laugh, the glance that says everything. He approaches each session as a documentarian — present but unobtrusive, committed to photographing life without artifice. He shoots with a Sony A7 IV and has an eye for the light that appears in the last twenty minutes before the sun hits the horizon.
